I'm heading back up to Foya tomorrow to encourage my staff who are taking part in our Adult Literacy Training to help kick off the year. I'll be the only expat in Foya this weekend, which means lots of quiet time to hopefully catch up with everything! Friday is Armed Forces Day here in Liberia, which is the equivelant to Memorial Day in the States, so the base should be pretty quiet with everyone off for the holiday.
Bev has been asked by our UK office to run the London Marathon in April, to help raise money for Water and Sanitation projects and Livelihoods projects (go CLP!) in Liberia! She has been training extremely hard in this humid climate, and you can follow her progress and training
here or even donate to the cause! Bev, I am proud of you for running with purpose!
